Nansen CEO: AI trading agents are expected to surpass human traders within two years

en
On July 28, according to The Block, Alex Svanevik, CEO of on-chain data platform Nansen, stated that the number of AI trading agents is expected to surpass human traders within approximately two years. Nansen is transitioning its products from pure analytical tools to "directly tradable" ones and is restructuring the platform around "trading all assets on-chain with agents," a feature that has already achieved over $500 million in trading volume. Svanevik mentioned that approximately 10 of the top 15 perpetual contracts by trading volume on Nansen are for non-crypto assets, including SpaceX, the S&P 500 index, gold, and crude oil. Nansen plans to open up more autonomous trading agents after completing backtesting and paper trading to reduce inference costs and mitigate the risk of input poisoning.
