July 29th, according to Jingshi, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister stated that Iran's policy is that the Strait of Hormuz will never return to its pre-war state. If ships are allowed to pass through the southern channel of the Strait of Hormuz, our sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz will become a mirage. We have informed France and the United Kingdom that any deployment of their warships in the Strait of Hormuz for the purpose of mine clearance will make these warships legitimate targets.
