Nvidia Invests in Ilya Sutskever's AI Company SSI

This long-term collaboration will not only enhance the startup's access to computing power but also help Nvidia fend off competitors. Nvidia has made a "huge" investment, and the specific terms of the deal are not yet clear. Under the agreement, Sutskever's Safe Superintelligence company will gain significant access to Nvidia's flagship GPU hardware—enough to increase the company's computing resources by "an order of magnitude." According to sources familiar with the matter, the company previously relied primarily on Google's TPU chips.
