Trump's phone reportedly leaks user personal information

en
On May 20th, according to TechCrunch, Trump Mobile, a brand associated with President Trump, has been exposed for leaking user data, including sensitive information such as mailing addresses and email addresses. YouTubers Coffeezilla and penguinz0 reported that their order information for the Trump Mobile T1 phone was leaked online. Researchers confirmed the data leak by retrieving their personal information but received no response after multiple attempts to contact Trump Mobile. The two stated that they have not yet disclosed the specific exploitation method out of concern that attackers might continue to exploit the vulnerability. Based on the unique IDs in the leaked data, it is estimated that approximately 30,000 users actually ordered and purchased the T1 phone, far below the previously market-estimated pre-sale volume of 590,000 units. Trump Mobile has not yet publicly responded to this matter.
