ZachXBT claims suspect in $130,000 BTC social engineering theft transferred $2.59 million in funds

On May 15, according to on-chain investigator ZachXBT, threat actor "Dritan Kapplani Jr" transferred approximately $2.59 million in assets (about 1.99 million DAI and 259 ETH) on May 14, after three hops, to address 0x67ec1d405e53ed13a19eb77a9db19186723d125d. The funds remain stationary. ZachXBT previously released an investigation on X on May 12, stating that Dritan and Trenton Johnson are suspected of being involved in a social engineering theft case involving 185 BTC, worth approximately $13 million.
