Sources: Iran demands permanent end to war, lifting of sanctions, nuclear issues to be discussed later

According to Reuters, a senior Iranian source said that the United States has shown flexibility in current discussions, including regarding restrictions on Iran's nuclear work. Washington has so far only agreed to unfreeze 25% of Iran's funds according to a phased timetable. Tehran has asked the United States to unfreeze all funds. Tehran's revised proposal calls for a permanent end to the war, the lifting of sanctions, and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. Tehran will discuss nuclear issues at a later stage.
