Block's Cash App is rolling out USDC stablecoin payment functionality in phases, supporting four chains: Solana, Ethereum, Polygon, and Arbitrum.

On May 27, according to CoinDesk, Block's Cash App has begun rolling out USDC stablecoin payment functionality to approximately one-quarter of its nearly 60 million users, with plans to cover all users within the week. This feature allows users to deposit and withdraw USDC on four chains: Solana, Ethereum, Polygon, and Arbitrum, serving as a blockchain transfer channel for fiat balances rather than an investment tool. Product documentation indicates that on-chain transfers are irreversible, and funds will be permanently lost if sent to the wrong address or an unsupported network. The feature is currently unavailable in New York State and for sponsored accounts. Verified users are subject to a daily sending limit of $2,000 (weekly $5,000) and a weekly receiving limit of $10,000.
