Tether Signs MoU with Nairobi Securities Exchange to Advance Digital Asset Infrastructure and Education in Africa

en
Tether announced on its official website that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) in Kenya to cooperate in areas such as digital asset education, asset tokenization, and blockchain infrastructure. The two parties plan to conduct capital markets and digital asset training for brokers and retail investors, and explore securities tokenization, instant settlement, and fragmented investment access using the Hadron platform. This cooperation will also assess the feasibility of using USD₮ as a potential digital settlement layer to improve liquidity, shorten the existing three-tier settlement cycle, and optimize AML/KYC processes in compliance with local regulations.
