AI voice company Fish Audio completes $50 million seed funding round, led by Coreline Ventures and Capital Today

July 28th, according to TechCrunch, AI voice startup Fish Audio, based in Palo Alto, California, announced the completion of a $50 million seed funding round. The round was led by Coreline Ventures and Capital Today, with participation from 359 Capital, Parable, Play Time, Alphalist Partners, Bayhouse Ventures, Carya Venture Partners, and HF0. Since its launch last year, the company has attracted over 8 million users for its open-source or hosted voice models, generating $21 million in annual recurring revenue. Fish Audio has released four voice generation models and one text-to-speech model. Its latest model, S2.1 Pro, is exclusively available through a paid API and has already served enterprise clients such as HeyGen, Sanas, and Plaud. Fish Audio plans to launch audio understanding models and voice-to-voice models in the future to compete with players like ElevenLabs and Speechify in the crowded AI voice market.
