On July 28, according to Bitcoin.com News, BlackRock, the world's largest asset management company, publicly supported the Clarity Act. Samara Cohen, its global head of market development, stated that the bill is "an important step in establishing an investor-first digital asset regulatory framework" and will help the United States "shape the next era of market structure."
Fidelity, Goldman Sachs CEO Solomon, and Charles Schwab have also recently expressed support for the Clarity Act. Senate Majority Leader John Thune indicated that Senate work might extend beyond the August recess, narrowing the legislative window, and some policy analysts have lowered the probability of the bill passing this year to 30%.
