SOON: Mainnet has resumed operations, security incident stemmed from infrastructure configuration issues

SOON announced on X that it suspended its sequencer and related services on July 12th after detecting a security incident affecting its operating environment. The incident stemmed from configuration errors and permission management issues within the operational infrastructure. External attackers gained unauthorized access through a misconfigured service, but no protocol vulnerabilities, sequencers, or user smart contracts were involved, and user assets were unaffected. SOON has engaged BlockSec for an independent review, replaced compromised credentials, and rebuilt and reinforced the affected infrastructure components. NFT minting and token claiming functions were restored on July 21st, and mainnet RPC services and block production returned to normal on July 27th.
