Pump.fun Token Graduation Rate Soars After BOOST Change Introduces Incentives

en
On July 30, according to The Block, Pump.fun saw a significant increase in token graduation rates after the launch of the BOOST mechanism—reaching 6.7% last Friday, about 8 times the average in June (0.8%). The four days prior averaged 4.7%, and the week before that was 2.5%. BOOST addresses the approximately 20% of "dead liquidity" that was permanently locked upon graduation. It automatically buys back tokens in the market and burns them within the first 5 minutes after migration, providing immediate buying pressure and supply destruction post-migration, incentivizing traders to bid more aggressively during the bonding phase. The founder of Pump.fun previously stated that BOOST adds about 20% liquidity to each newly migrated token and will inject hundreds of millions of dollars into the ecosystem in the long term. The PUMP token has risen over 10% year-to-date and nearly 60% in the past month, with a current market capitalization of approximately $850 million and a fully diluted valuation exceeding $1.8 billion.
