Anthropic Releases Survey of Over 80,000 Claude Users: 81% Believe AI is Meeting Expectations

AI company Anthropic interviewed 80,500 users from 159 countries and 70 languages through Claude to investigate their expectations and concerns about AI. The results show that about 19% of respondents hope AI will improve "professional performance," 14% focus on "personal growth," about 11% expect to achieve "time freedom" through AI, and nearly 10% see it as a tool for financial independence. 81% of respondents stated that AI has already realized their vision to some extent, mainly focusing on productivity improvement, cognitive collaboration, and accelerated learning. However, regarding concerns, about 27% pointed out that AI results are unreliable, 22% are concerned about employment and economic impact, about 22% worry about the weakening of human autonomy, and 16% believe over-reliance on AI may lead to "cognitive decline."
