May 13th News, Simon Gerovich, CEO of Japanese listed Bitcoin treasury company Metaplanet, posted on X that the company's revenue for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026 was 3.08 billion yen (approximately $19.52 million), a year-on-year increase of 251%; operating profit was 2.27 billion yen (approximately $14.39 million), a year-on-year increase of 283%; and the operating profit margin was 73.6%. The Bitcoin yield was 2.8%, and total assets were 402.96 billion yen (approximately $2.55 billion), a decrease of 12.1% quarter-on-quarter. The full-year performance forecast remains unchanged, with revenue target of 16 billion yen (approximately $101 million) and operating profit target of 11.4 billion yen (approximately $72.25 million), representing year-on-year increases of 80% and 81% respectively.
