MoneyGram Becomes Tempo Mainnet Anchor Remittance Verifier, Promoting Stablecoin Settlement Cooperation

Global payment institution MoneyGram has announced a strategic partnership with Tempo, a public chain focused on high-frequency payments. MoneyGram will become a remittance validator for the Tempo network, participating in the verification of on-chain remittance transactions. MoneyGram will leverage its compliance and global settlement experience to upgrade its settlement infrastructure using stablecoins and blockchain. The partnership also includes collaboration with Stripe to adopt Tempo's on-chain infrastructure for stablecoin settlement in actual clearing processes, aiming to enhance fund management and cross-border payment efficiency. Both parties will further explore open and interoperable stablecoin payment network scenarios in the future.
