Report: OpenAI Codex currently has over 4 million weekly active users, with one-fifth being knowledge workers

According to AXIOS, OpenAI Codex currently has over 4 million weekly active users, more than five times the number since OpenAI launched its desktop application in February, according to a new report released by OpenAI. The report shows that knowledge workers now account for about one-fifth of OpenAI Codex's total user base, growing more than three times faster than the developer community. Among knowledge workers, the fastest-growing task types are data analysis, with an 110% week-over-week increase; research work, up 37%; and knowledge asset-related tasks, up 36%.
