Iranian media: Applications for passage permits in the Strait of Hormuz are now open

According to Xinhua News Agency, citing Iranian media, the Strait of Hormuz vessel transit permit application system has been fully opened, allowing global shipowners and captains to submit transit applications at any time, 24 hours a day. According to the report, ships can submit transit applications for the Strait of Hormuz through an electronic system established by the management authority. Upon approval, vessels will be granted transit permits.
