Anthropic Expands "Glasswing" Project, Extending High-Risk Software Security Collaboration to Approximately 200 Partners

en
On June 2nd, Anthropic announced the expansion of its cybersecurity initiative, Project Glasswing, from approximately 50 partner organizations to around 200. The new additions include about 150 entities covering critical infrastructure sectors such as power, water, healthcare, telecommunications, and hardware, as well as maintainers of important open-source software. These partners are located in over 15 countries. All collaborators must meet specific security standards before gaining access to Claude Mythos Preview, which is used for vulnerability scanning. Anthropic noted that a successful attack on most of these partners could impact over 100 million people. The company will continue to assist partners in discovering, disclosing, and remediating high-risk software vulnerabilities through tools like Claude Mythos and Claude Security, and plans to gradually and securely open Mythos-level cyber offense and defense capabilities to more organizations.
