Robotics AI data training company Mecka AI completes $60 million in financing, led by Framework Ventures

According to Fortune magazine, robotic AI data training company Mecka AI has completed a cumulative financing of $60 million. Of this, $25 million in Series A was completed in November 2025, followed by an additional $35 million. This round was led by Framework Ventures, with participation from Menlo Ventures, SV Angel, Kindred Ventures, and Ted Xiao, a former researcher at Google DeepMind and founding member of Project Prometheus. The company collects human motion data through custom hardware (such as body sensors) and iPhones to train embodied AI models. Founder and CEO Josh Gao stated that based on signed contracts, the company expects to achieve an annual recurring revenue of $100 million. Mecka AI currently has 40 employees.
